I built this coffee and console table set about three years ago. They are currently sitting in our living room. The basic design is arts and crafts - I found the inspiration in a Pottery Barn catalog. The structure is meant to look heavy and solid.
The wood is cherry, left over from a mantle project. I decided to add tile to the tops for more interest.
